It's official

We finally got the anouncement last night that the Funke family will not be moving to Germany in the near future. This was greeted by mixed responses - Max danced for joy around the room, Christina burst into tears and went into hiding for an hour, Carl declared he did not care as he could move back to Germany by himself, and Annemarie wanted to go play (she did not understand really).
We are going to spend the month of August there, giving the kids the chance to catch up with friends during the summer vacation, and there will be a rather major reshuffle of this house to make it a bit more livable in the long term. Wont affect me or my space.
This means we can all now focus on getting on with our lives and making plans. And whilst I know I have told a few of you to pencil a big party into the last weekend of October, don't put it in ink yet. When Lynda gets back from the states I might be able to get her to sit and listen long enough to work it all out.

April Fools Day. Dinner cruise on the Thames for Darren's birthday. Sonny was my awesome date, even brought me flowers...

This is me and some of the other Guerilla Gardeners on the traffic island near Lambeth Tube station. This was taken about 10.30pm on 27th April. I know it was a while ago, but thought it was about time I showcase a few of the events from recent times, as I have been promising photos of these things to people for ages. Look out for more to come.

Well...

Lynda and Johannes are both away at the moment, so I am working solo. And yesterday I got a call from my bank saying they had a report from the police that it was possible my cashcard had been cloned, and so the abnk had cancelled mine, and would be issuing me with another, within the next four working days.
All well and good, and thanks for the tight security, but what am I supposed to do until then?
Luckily Lynda had given me the GBP300 that she owed me, because it is such a hassle to go into the bank to withdraw cash.

Anyway, thats about all for now. Going to do an assignment. Yes, I really am.
